Christopher de Roetth, Account Management
Christopher de Roetth has been in the investment business since 1983, having started his career at Detroyat Associates, an investment research firm in France. He returned to the United States and worked at the investment bank, Alex, Brown & Sons, from 1988-1999, and at Deutsche Bank, which bought Alex, Brown in 1999, as a Managing Director in Institutions & Corporates. From 1999 until the present, he has worked at Account Management, LLC, a Boston-based investment advisor, as a portfolio manager, where he invested in growth stocks and increasingly, macro driven global investment ideas. Chris works with us as a partner of Account Management. Chris has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vassar College.
Natural Capital Institute (NCI)
Founded and directed by Paul Hawken, the Natural Capital Institute is a research group dedicated to researching principles and practices leading to social justice and environmental restoration. The Natural Capital Institute serves the people who are transforming the world. They are a team of researchers, teachers, students, activists, scholars, writers, social entrepreneurs, artists, and volunteers committed to the restoration of the earth and the healing of human culture. They do two things: they describe pathways of change in books and research reports, and create tools for connecting the individuals, information, and organizations that create change.
Paul Hawken and Highwater Research
Paul Hawken is a best selling author and founder of several ecological businesses. Paul is the author and co-author of many articles and papers as well as six books including The Next Economy (1983), Growing a Business (1987) and The Ecology of Commerce (1998). Paul has founded or co-founded several companies including Smith & Hawken, the garden and catalog retailer; Groxis, an information delivery provider for search engines; and Metacode, a software company. He has co-founded PaxIT, PaxTurbine, and PaxFan, three companies associated with Pax Scientific – a California-based research and development corporation focused on proprietary technologies involving but not limited to fluid dynamics, convection, flow form geometry, propulsion and thermodynamics
Highwater Research was established by Paul to create new standards for social and environmental responsibility, based on the intent of a company. A rigorous research process helps identify companies that not only provide innovative products and services that address global constraints; but also integrate and demonstrate a social and environmental commitment in corporate values and objectives.

WJ Financial Advisors
Wallace Jones is the Founder and President of WJ Financial Advisors, a boutique investment management firm with an extensive background in energy, finance, equity valuation and portfolio management. He has worked with GreenTech Research, LLC, one of the first long/short CleanTech focused hedge funds and has structured portfolios for individuals with an interest in and understanding of sustainability-themed investing. Prior to starting WJ Financial Advisors, Mr. Jones was the CFO of a $20MM privately-held company. His career has also included management and analyst positions within the advisory business of Ernst & Young, LLP. Wally was also responsible for launching and growing the Energy Technology investment banking practice at Adams, Harkness and Hill (now CanaccordAdams) where he forged relationships with some of the pioneers of the industry. Mr. Jones is a cum laude graduate of Georgetown University. He earned his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Business at Northwestern University. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the Hartford CFA Society.
